International Language and Training Institute in Aden, a part of Yemen Information Center, organized a three-day short training course on preparing and drafting development projects. The course ran from May 28th to June 2nd, 2024, with ten trainees participating.
The course, led by Salih Ba’azab, Public Relations Officer at Yemen Information Center, Aden, aimed to introduce participants to the concept of a development project, equip them with skills for choosing development projects, analyzing the project’s internal and external environment using SWOT analysis, teaching them how to analyze problem and objective trees, training them on mapping project resources and opportunities, and introducing them to preparing project proposals and financial budgets.
It is worth noting that Yemen Information Center aims to provide the local and international communities and organizations working in Yemen with a reliable source of information, empower them to utilize all Yemeni resources, propose practical solutions to persistent and accumulated problems, and highlight opportunities available for peacebuilding and post-conflict planning.
