Today, the second phase of training course for skill development and the path to the labor market, part of the “Computer Skills and Path to the Labor Market” project, was concluded at the International Language and Training Institute (ILTI) a subsidiary of Yemen Information Center (YIC) in Aden. The phase lasted from September 1 to 12, 2024, with the participation of the first group consisting of ten students.
The second phase of the project included six main topics, which covered an introduction and overview of the skills development program for the labor market, the types and components of resumes, the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) related to resumes, how to avoid mistakes when preparing and writing a CV, cover letters, how to prepare for job interviews and their stages, the most important platforms that provide various job opportunities, professional correspondence, electronic archiving, and other topics relevant to youth in the labor market.
It is noteworthy that this course aligns with the institute’s strategic goals of providing quality education and training opportunities for young people in various training and development courses at all levels, according to modern and advanced standards that meet the needs of the labor market in various practical and scientific disciplines. Additionally, the project will be implemented for the second group during the period from September 15 to 26 of this year (2024).
